The goal of this Crusade of Mercy is to help the Poor Souls in Purgatory throughout the whole year - to make sure that new members of the Church Suffering are constantly joining the ranks of the Church Triumphant!

In addition to this continual focus, there are intermediary goals for us to reach along the way:

For every 5 thousand prayers said, the Crusaders will unlock Crusader Tokens for themselves and for the whole Catholic Kingdom;

And for every 25 thousand prayers said, there will be a Grand Prize to all those Crusaders who have helped reach that goal!

So again, there is no restriction of time - just a motivation to reach our goal and help the Church Suffering as fast as we can! The better, and more consistently, we receive your prayer counts, the more accurately and the quicker we will know our progress and reach each objective of prayers.

One last and final point before you start off on your Crusade! Remember that the goal is not to say the prayer a lot, but to say the prayer WELL. One might be tempted to speed through as many prayers as one can. But if they are not prayed well, then no souls are released from Purgatory at all and you’ll just waste your time. But this Crusade has no deadline, so do not worry of running out of time.

Whatever amount you say, be it great or small, remember that what is judged is your intention. Like the widow in the Holy Bible - whose little money, being all that she had, was more meritorious than the rich man’s treasure - the best that you can give, no matter how much, is what God deserves. And that is all He asks.

Know that you are not alone, and that you are being assisted by fellow Crusaders on earth, and by friends in Heaven, as you join, by your prayers, the Universal Crusade to obtain Mercy for the Poor Souls!
